Bogdan Furniture is a growing multi-national furniture manufacturing and distribution corporation.
Set up initially as an Anglo-Bulgarian joint venture, it now has associates and management from Bulgaria, UK, Ireland, Italy and Turkey. Primarily all our products start life in the beautiful, yet sustainable forests of Bulgaria, in the heart of the Balkan mountain range, where the vast majority of our raw material comes from (due to successful forestation programs Bulgaria's stimated national forest stocks rose from about 200 million m3 in 1950 to more than 475 million m3 in 1997).

Bogdan Furniture, through its associates and shareholders, privately owns forest areas throughout Bulgaria, and plans to invest more in these as it grows, making us a fully self sufficient, and cost effective organization.

Bogdan Furniture's parent companies currently own and operate on 5 separate sites throughout Bulgaria. This includes one of the largest and best equipped furniture factories in South Eastern Europe (see left).
We also ensure that the majority of the new machinery that we buy is imported from Western countries ensuring that we remain as productive as any competing manufacturer in our sector. One of the key strategies in the corporation is to continue investment in buying freehold properties in Bulgaria, as we look to further expand production.

Our team of workers currently totals around 250. Trained and led by highly experienced management teams from England and Italy, respectively, our local staff has built up a unique knowledge of Western production techniques over the last 10 years. As we continue to grow we are aiming to employ and train more and more local staff, whilst at the same time will consider expanding our multinational management. With an emphasis on quality control we are more than confident that all our furniture will compete with the current leading brands.
